Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April 2022, I will be running the Brighton Marathon for Endometriosis UK.

I know what it's like to live with endometriosis, having been diagnosed five years ago. It is a debilitating condition with few treatment options and no cure. It has left me in tears more times than I can count, bedridden more times than I care to remember, and in hospital twice in the last year. I am running to support the 1 in 10 women living with endometriosis, for those with or without a diagnosis, and to prove that I can do this despite having the condition myself.

I am incredibly fortunate to have a diagnosis and an amazing support network of friends and family. Endometriosis UK provides invaluable support and advice to people living with endometriosis. You can find more information about the condition and the work of Endometriosis UK at https://www.endometriosis-uk.org/.
