Story
I have been going to Moorfields Eye Hospital since I was a baby, to get treatment from the eye prosthetic specialists. I have a prosthetic eye because my right retina did not develop properly, therefore I cannot see through my right eye.
I want to raise money for Friends of Moorfields to:
Support their work with children throughout the Moorfields NHS Trust.
Currently they spend about £84,000 per year on supporting children's services.
They pay for a full time play-leader and a part time children’s counsellor
at Moorfields Eye Hospital in City Road and contribute 70% of the cost of a play-leader at The Moorfields Children’s Eye Clinic at St Georges Hospital.
They also make a number of smaller grants for children’s services throughout the Trust.
Your contribution today will mean a lot to the charity and to our family. It will help the Friends of Moorfields continue these activities which are much appreciated by families of children with severe visual impairment.
All the money you donate will go straight to Friends of Moorfields, as my family has paid £100 to the charity on this site to cover the costs of climbing the O2 and any costs for using the justgiving site.
