Anyone who knows me even a little bit (or happens to stumble upon my Instagram feed) will know how important my two border collies are to me. To my mind, I have 4 children, two of them just happen to have four legs and bark a lot when someone says 'walk'. 

The current cost of living crisis means that a lot of people are having to make the really difficult decision to give up their pets in order to pay the bills. As an animal lover, I am so grateful for the work that organisations like The Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home does to look after pets that can no longer be looked after by their owners, so this January I'm taking part in the 'Step up for CDCH' challenge!

I will be walking 10,000 steps a day during January 2023 to raise money for the animals in the care of The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home. Please support me and donate what you can.

£2 - will pay for a dogs food for a day

£5 - will pay for an animals flea and worming treatment

£14 - will pay for a dogs food for a week

£28 - will pay for a vet check up
