Carten done! And now on to the main event, the Three Canyons ride with Velindre! 

I will be joining a group of equally crazy people to ride 300!miles across Arizona, Utah and Nevada. I may have been slightly blinded by the excitement of it ending in Las Vegas, but we have 300 miles to cover before that bit of fun begins! 

I’m not a seasoned long distance rider and so this is a huge challenge for me! There will be lots of hills, desert, heat and probably tears along with the laughter! I’m doing it all to raise money for Velindre who provide valuable cancer services to people across Wales. All money donated will go directly to Velindre and I am self-funding event itself. 

Covid19 had a huge impact on Velindre’s fundraising capabilities and patients’ access to critical services when time is or utmost importance. Never have these vital funds been so desperately needed. I’d love to to do whatever I can get to help them make up for lost time! 

A staggering 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer throughout their lifetime and Velindre provides valuable treatment, research and caring services to patients and their families. I don’t I know many people who’s lives haven’t at some point been affected by this devastating disease, so anything you can donate will be incredibly appreciated 💚
