Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hello, my name is Hannah Pickford, and I am a teacher at the New Struan School in Alloa, which is run by Scottish Autism. The New Struan School is a day and residential school for Autistic children who require a non-mainstream educational environment. There is a focus on supporting transitions, preparing for life after school and inclusive learning.
I am looking to raise some funds to allow the pupils at the school to participate in some sports of their choice such as golf, fencing and tennis. In my spare time I like to play golf, and I am a member of Stirling Golf Club. I often play 18 holes in a day, but for this challenge, I would like to do a little more. 36 holes of golf separated by lunch is a classic away day, but 54 holes is rarely done. 54 holes though, is exactly what I intend to do. This challenge will involve starting out first thing in the morning, completing the first round in less than 3 hours hopefully. I will be counting my scores and aim to get round all 54 in less than 330 shots, accompanied by my fiancé who is also a keen golfer.
We have picked the 13th of June at Stirling Golf club for the challenge, and more details of the estimated tee off times will be added nearer the time.
I would like to Thank Stirling Golf club for allowing me to complete this challenge.
Any donations are greatly appreciated.
