On the 15^th of October I will be attempting to complete an Ironman triathlon (3.8km swim, 180km bike and a full marathon!) and through doing so I am hoping to raise money for Sarcoma UK.

Sarcoma is a cancer that is aggressive and is often diagnosed when it is fairly advanced. Sarcoma UK are helping to fund research to try to overcome these challenges and to support patients and their relatives going through such tough times.

It is particularly important to me as a very dear friend and her family have been affected, and the world has lost two brilliant people to this cruel disease. Sue was only aged 55 and Jamie was 19. They both were only diagnosed with sarcoma in the last few weeks and days of their lives respectively.

I would be incredibly grateful if you can give what you can, to help motivate me but more importantly fund more research and support for those affected by Sarcoma.
