Last year in 2020, my Pa got diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease, an incurable disease, that unfortunately affects messages from the motor neurones to the muscles.  This can affect how people walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe.  I have seen the first hand effects that this emotionally draining disease has on, not only the person with it but also their nearest and dearest.

This is why I have decided to run the Great North Run and Virtual London Marathon to support the work of this amazing charity but also for my inspirational Pa. I hope that I can make a little bit of difference by joining the fight against this terrible disease so that many families can have the support they need.
