Story
I spend my working life as a Haematology Research nurse, supporting patients' journeys through blood cancer treatment options on clinical trials. The end goal is to one day be able to say we have a cure for blood cancers, including leukaemia!
I have been lucky enough to secure a ballot place for London Marathon this year, after many years of being unsuccessful! As such, I'm under no obligation to raise a certain amount however I wanted to take the opportunity to raise whatever I could to help such a worthwhile cause.
Cure Leukaemia work very closely with our trials team, here in Leeds, and offer patients across the UK hope in their battle against blood cancer.Your generosity means Cure Leukaemia can help the prospects of blood cancer patients by funding more nurses and running more clinical trials through the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network of 12 centres across the UK.
Thank you!
