There are many exciting things about being Chief Executive of a dynamic, innovative, and life changing charity. And there have plenty of challenges along the way too. But perhaps the biggest challenge I've set myself is running 13.2 miles for this brilliant cause. Now I'm not a runner, and would much rather prefer having a pint in the pub, but I do passionately believe in leading by example. Each year we ask 100s of young people to go out into their community and raise fund to help us to send books to Tanzania. So I’m putting my money where my mouth is and running one final time for READ International.

In a matter of weeks I'll be moving on from READ International. And having spent the last two years asking other people to give us some cash! So I'm committing that for every person who sponsors me over £5 I'll donate 25 pence, on a monthly basis, to READ International. Yes, that's right, you can make be become READ International’s largest monthly donor by helping me spread the word and bank the £'s.

READ International is an amazing charity. It works tirelessly every year to raise the funds to really changes lives for young people in the UK and in Tanzania. Forgo your pint(s) or glasses of wine this evening and sponsor me instead.
