Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Myself and Ali Pitcher wanted to set ourselves a challenge to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research when one of our close friends was diagnosed at only 32. Cancer has affected a number of our close friends and we wanted to do something to help fight this cruel disease. Originally we were going to do a parachute jump, but apart from being terrified about throwing ourselves out of a plane, we wanted all the money we raised to go to the charity rather than part of it paying for the event!
We decided to do a walk along the North Norfolk Coastal Path which stretches along 46 miles of coastline.....we have added on an extra 6 miles to make it two marathons. We will do this over two days on the 24th and 25th January 2015. Why in the middle of winter? To make it more of a challenge and because we've probably got a couple of screws loose between us! We have had generous donations from Norwich Camping and Leisure of walking boots and rucksacks and are hoping other companies may be as generous in helping us kit ourselves out for this "walk".
We would like to thank you for your donations and support and will keep updating with training walks and info about the walk itself as it would be great if people would join us along the route!
