Story
Thank you very much for visiting my page!
On 23rd June, I will be running in Shrewsbury's first ever half marathon, raising money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. I am running in memory of my brother, Edward who very sadly lost his battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma, a rare form of Lymphatic Cancer on 8th May 2011, aged 21.
Every 20 minutes in the UK, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and very sadly one person dies each hour from blood cancer. Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is the only charity in the UK which soley focuses upon blood cancers. Each year they need to raise over £20 million in order to fund research to help continue their life saving work. Hopefully, with continued research this shocking statistic will improve.
Any donations are greatly appreciated so please dig deep and donate. Together we will beat blood cancer.
Thank you
Hannah
