In September 2009 I will begin my gap year at CYE which is a Christian Sailing Centre located at Chidham. As part of the CYE team I am really looking forward to working with the groups of young people that will attend the centre and also helping with outreach work at local schools in and Hampshire at assemblies and in RE lessons. A large part of my role will involve helping children, from many different backgrounds, who might not otherwise get the chance to go on an active holiday and to try and show them how relevant Christianity can be in their lives. In order for me to carry out this work with CYE I will need to raise a considerable sum of money!

I am going to be cycling from to at the end of August and would love for you to sponsor me. Those of you that know me and my sporting ability know this will be a great challenge! Any donations however small would be greatly appreciated.
