Story
Thank you so much for coming to my page!!
My youngest sister, Naomi, who had cerebral palsy & motor neurone disease, sadly passed away in 2007. When she was alive, we researched alternative therapies for her that could have improved her condition. That was when we discovered Conductive Education. Unfortunately, our closest centre was in Birmingham, so we weren’t able to access the benefits of regular C.E. sessions for Naomi. Fast forward to a decade & a half later, & my best friend, Sarah, is now bringing Conductive Education to that corner of the world & transforming the lives of so many children & adults with neurological challenges, disorders & disease. She calls it ‘Naomi’s Garden.’ Currently, Sarah has a huge waiting list & spends hours a week driving to & from appointments, which increases her overheads & limits the amount of clients she can help. We are raising money to buy Sarah her own centre for Naomi’s Garden, so that she can have a base from which to offer her services, & expand to include other therapies & services such as counselling, Bowen Therapy & SEND consultancy.
Please help me raise the funds Sarah needs to give her skills a permanent base & to give these children & adults access to a ‘home’ for their ongoing development & achievement. Go Sarah! I am 100% behind you all the way. Let’s do this. For Naomi. For the children & adults you already help. And for all the ones that will come after them. ❤️
“Naomi's Garden was created to provide a source of hope for individuals who are starting their journey to become whole. Our desire is to see families in Lincolnshire and beyond access what we offer and have a sense of belonging. We are able to offer a number of therapies and services to facilitate this, including Conductive Education, Bowen Therapy and Special Educational Needs (SEND) Consultancy. We deliver therapy, which is both excellent and unique, to every individual. We currently have a waiting list of families waiting to benefit from the unique therapy we provide. Therefore we are looking to be able to create a professional and accessible hub for children and families. However, this is where we need your help. We are looking for financial donations to help us reach our goal in purchasing a building and creating this centre.”
