Hannah and Kiera (and maybe Brynley the dog) are going to walk the coast to coast path in 7 days- that's 194 miles in total, averaging just under 28 miles per day (more than a marathon per day) over very rough and hilly (ascents totalling 8550m) terrain, including the Lake District, Yorkshire dales and Yorkshire moors, carrying heavy rucksacks containing th full day's supply of food, water, waterproofs, extra clothes, maps etc!  We are going to raise money for the Brooke hospital, an amazing charity that helps working horses, donkeys and mules in some of the worlds poorest countries.  This in turn helps their owners who rely upon them for work by educating and empowering them to care for their animals.

We are going to be sleeping in our campervan each night and will ourselves donate the money we would have spent on accommodation.  We have some very kind friends and family who will drive us back to the campervan every evening, which will add to an already long day!

This challenge is being done in memory of Hannah's Aunty, Mary Linzell and Granny, Audrey Linzell, who both died last year.  Audrey was passionate about all aspects of animal welfare and Mary had a life long passion for horses.

This is a massive challenge for us- we are training very, very hard and any sponsorship is very greatly appreciated, however small.
