Story
As many of you know, I started a new job back in April, working for The Women's Center as their Director of Development and Communications. I want to raise money and awareness for them today because I strongly believe without organizations like this one the fight for women's equality becomes that much harder.
Nearly all of the issues surrounding domestic, and sexual violence against women stems from belief systems and structures that oppress women and girls. Your support today, will go towards the life saving and changing services we provide, which help victims and survivors regain the independence they deserve!
The Women's Center has observed Women's Equality Day since our founding in 1977. Today we continue to advocate for all survivors of all gender identities and backgrounds, to insure they have access to safety, shelter, and support when they arrive at our doors. As the only agency of our kind in Waukesha County, we are a critical part of our community to continue to create more futures free from violence. Join us and help raise awareness for the vital programs provided by The Women's Center.
