I will be doing this bike ride in memory of my Granddad, Patrick Newell who died after suffering a heart attack. The charity is at the forefront of pioneering research into medical advances and treatment for all heart conditions.</p> <p>Over half of all heart research in the UK is funded by the money you give. And over the next few years we are looking to spend &pound;50 million to give hope to the thousands of people affected by heart failure after a heart attack as part of our Mending Broken Hearts Appeal among many other campaigns.</p> <p>Please take a look at the 'The kiss of life could be the greatest kiss you ever give' campaign.
