Fundraising for Sarcoma UK
Thank you for visiting my page! I’m running the 2025 London Marathon for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
Our amazingly strong friend Ellie was diagnosed with Sarcoma when we were just 20 years old. Living with Sarcoma meant invasive ongoing treatments such as chemo and multiple operations.
Ellie passed away on the 14th of January 2025 after battling cancer and living the time she had to the absolute fullest.
Despite her diagnosis Ellie completed her Nursing degree and worked as a Neonatal intensive care nurse for the NHS whilst juggling appointments for her own treatment. Her love for others was fierce and one that we will never forget. In 2024 Ellie married George and together they travelled Japan and had many adventures.
I’m running this marathon in memory of her energy and strength, and how she fought with such courage, never allowing her diagnosis to come in the way of anything that she wanted to do.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat.
Please donate money to Sarcoma UK so that better treatments can be researched.
