In 1991 my mother lost one of her acquaintances to HIV/AIDS, Freddie Mercury, in 1970's she used to hang out with him, meet after gigs, went to various meet and greets, hang around his stall in Kensington Market. I got to know him through my mother's stories and photos, i never met him. I'm doing this in honour of his memory and his legacy. In 2011 I'm doing the great wall of china trek with Discover Adventure. I've chosen this charity as it holds a special place in my heart and always will.
