Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page for the London to Brighton bike ride.

The British Heart Foundation is a charity I've become more familiar with in recent years. Without trying to state the blatantly obvious, their work is as vital as the heart's function. Their research helps save and improve the lives that heart disease effects, and it effects everyone, new born babies, children, parents, friends, family (and dogs, but that's a different charity...)

Just imagine if you or someone you loved had a heart attack or had to have open-heart surgery... wouldn't you want the latest drugs, surgery and care? Progress is being made, but research by a charity is obviously limited by funding.

So that's my serious bit out the way, now give me lots of money for this charity so I have no way out of this 54 mile bike I appear to have been signed up for... Yes, 54 miles, nearly 20 times the distance I struggle to cycle to work!
