Story
Hi All :)
So... I have decided to take myself completely out of my comfort zone in the hopes of raising money for a charity very close to my family's hearts. Despite having worked at Heightsafe Systems for the best part of 7 years, I am not great with heights and so throwing myself out of a plane at 11,000ft seemed like the perfect way to challenge myself...!
Truth be told, I am slightly terrified of what's in store for me and getting me ON that plane will be a challenge in itself, let alone getting me to jump out of it!! But my 'challenge' will be over in a matter of minutes which is nothing compared to what challenges the patients and staff at Marie Curie face on a daily basis. It will be 10 years this summer since my Grandad passed away and there is not a single day that goes by where he isn't missed. I am so thankful for everything that the staff at Marie Curie Liverpool did for my Grandad and the rest of my family during his time there. The nurses offer such incredible care and support to both patients and their families, in what is more often than not one of the most difficult times in many peoples lives and as such, Marie Curie will always have a special place in all of our hearts.
I would like to give back in any way I possibly can to this wonderful and deserving charity, in loving memory of my truly special, charming and greatly missed Grandad. Please dig deep and help me reach my target, I will be sure to show you all the images and videos from my jump as soon as it's completed!
Thank you , Hannah :) xx
