I am running 60k in May in memory of my friend and colleague - Mariane. By the time she was diagnosed with uterine cancer it had already spread. Despite treatment, it continued to spread, and Mariane passed away five years ago this May. I am raising money for the Eve Appeal because they fund research into treatment, as well as raising awareness of gynae cancers. Hopefully if people know the signs they can get diagnosed earlier & treatment can be more effective ❤️

The Eve Appeal is the UKs leading gynaecological cancer charity. They fund life-saving research and raise awareness of the five gynaecological cancers: womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal. Throughout May, I will be taking on 60k to help save lives. Every day in the UK 60 women are diagnosed with one of these cancers. This is far too many.
