Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Christmas 2015, my mum unfortunately announced she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Having been through a course of six chemotherapy treatments and fifteen radiotherapy sessions, she is now recovering well with no further sign of cancer. 

Through the help and support of Macmillan and the local breast care unit, my mum has been able to face and overcome this terrible illness, with tremendous courage and determination. Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan and other organisations. Without people doing events such as this and the kind donations from yourselves, they would not exist.
