Story
Four years ago In July I sadly lost my little sister Gina. For a while now I’ve wanted to do something in her memory. Then I saw an advert for the Peak district ultra this July and it seemed the perfect opportunity to raise some money in memory of Gina and donate the sponsorship to a worthy charity, I chose to raise money for Make a Wish uk.
But just to make it a bit more challenging (I love a challenge) I decided to do 2 ultras (so you’ll definitely get your moneys worth.
So In March I’m aiming to complete the North Yorkshire 50km ultra in under 12 hours and then in July I’m taking part in the Peak District ultra, hiking 100km continuously through the day and night.
So to help encourage me to get up at 5am everyday to fit in all of the training plus give me the motivation to actually complete the 2 ultras, I’d love it if you could dig deep and throw some sponsorship my way and help me raise some money and ultimately help to bring some happy memories to some wonderful children ♥️
Make a Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
