I’m running the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 15 October, in aid of RUHX, the official charity of the Royal United Hospitals Bath. Any donation small or large will really make a huge difference!

10 years ago I ran my first half marathon with my best friend Aimee. We trained so hard and we were so pleased when we crossed the finish line. I have ran it many times since but have decided to run it this year in memory of Aimee’s husband Nick who sadly died in December last year. Nick also ran the half 10 years ago and was well ahead of us but we celebrated together at the finish line. 

I have chosen to run the Bath Half in his memory to raise money for the RUHX charity because when Nick was ill the Nurses at the RUH showed so much kindness and support to Aimee, Nick and their family. 

Any donations will be gratefully received along with support on the day.
