Story

Hey everyone,

I am running the london marathon in April for Brain Tumour Research. This is a charity very close to my heart as my mum was affected by a brain tumour 4 years ago. One of the main aims of the charity is to promote awareness of brain tumours; it took the doctor 6 months to realise that my mum had a brain tumour. That was 6 months of constant dizziness, vomiting and falling over.

Even if you donate 10p or £10 it means that the charity can contiue to promote the symptoms and continue research into prevention and treatments.

My mum was one of the lucky ones, her brain tumour was operable and not cancerous, but more people under 40 die of a brain tumour than from any other cancer.

I am training really hard so please donate and support the cause. No amount is too small.

Thanks so much

Hannah

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
