Hello! The Poetry Cafe is a gem of an institution. One of the only venues in London dedicated to poetry all the time. It's central - in Covent Garden - and it puts on events that we all know and love. 

However - let's be real - it could be improved. Accessibility isn't ideal, there's sound bleed, the chairs aren't that comfy, and it can get boiling hot. GOOD NEWS: The Poetry Cafe is having renovations to fix all of that! 

Please donate - and come along - to the Poem-A-Thon on 22nd of July. There's going to be a huge range of talent - from up-and-coming stars to people who lectured me at uni - all raising funds to make the Poetry Cafe the very best it could be. It's ours and we love it. Let's make it better!
