Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This year I decided I needed a challenge, so on October 14th I'm going to be running the Cardiff Half Marathon, all 13.1 miles of it, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan offer help and support to patients suffering with cancer in a range of ways, from providing practical support at home and transport to hospital, right through to offering advice or just being a listening ear.  They also provide much needed help for the families and carers of patients.

I think many of us will have had some experience of how cancer affects friends and families.  I hope that even by raising just a small amount of money for Macmillan it will help them to make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.

Without fundraising Macmillan Cancer Support simply can't do what they so well.  Please give whatever you can towards this fabulous cause.  I know the Macmillan team are doing truly great things out there! Thankyou :)
