Story
We are taking part in The South Coast Mighty Hike to raise money for Macmillan. This is a 26 mile hike from Brighton to Eastbourne on Saturday 10th June 2023.
This cruel disease has no prejudice and will continue to tear families apart. By raising money for Macmillan we can help them to continue supporting victims and their families effected.
Each of us have a personal reason for taking on this challenge - losing Family members and friends to this awful illness. Taking part in this big challenge is our small way of giving back, raising awareness in memory of our loved ones. Any donation, big or small is really appreciated!
Macmillan has helped myself and family several times over the last 7 years. Sadly we lost my mother in law to Ovarian Cancer in 2015, followed by my father in-law to various cancers in 2017 and then my Mum to bowel cancer in 2018 after only 13 days from diagnosis. More recently I have lost my Nanna and Great Aunty to cancer also. The pain of losing our loved ones has been unbearable but made a little easier with the support of Macmillan.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure.
