Story
Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. So whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right right there with you.
Cancer sucks. Big time. Cancer took my daddy away from me when I was 7 years old. That's has had a huge impact on my life.
Cancer took a friend away from me when I was a teenager.
Cancer has affected so many members of my family and friends. Macmillian nurses have made a huge difference in these painful times and walked alongside us as cancer unleashes it brutality on us.
I want to make my 40th year of life really count, I am doing this for all those I have loved and lost plus the ones who are still battling now - they inspire me.
By raising money for Macmillian it means they can help and support more families affected by cancer and that can literally be a lifeline at times.
I'm kickstarting off my fundrising adventure on my 40th birthday, 9th October 2020, by asking 39 friends to join me by each walking a mile so we can cover 40 miles between us and I hope to raise £400 by the time 9th October hits midnight!
