Story
Many of you know that whilst I love chasing plastic discs around a field, I hate running. So I'm taking on my biggest challenge yet - a 60km trail run along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset on November 26th. Think cold, rain, wind and hills. So many hills.

Why am I doing it?
I was born in Sudan and the countries of Sudan & South Sudan have my heart. Never have I met such generous, welcoming, smart, determined people. Whilst I had the privilege of being able to study what I wanted, many of them don't get that option. And as they'll tell you, education is the key to stability, peace and development in South Sudan. The country desperately needs doctors, nurses, trained teachers, engineers, agriculturalists, lawyers and entrepreneurs who are committed to building a peaceful and prosperous nation.
So I'm running to support ECSSSUP, the UK charity of which I'm a trustee. We exist solely to support the team in South Sudan realise their dream of developing a university that will one day help bring peace to this country.
