24hr Three Peaks Challenge

24hr Three Peaks Challenge · 21 March 2015
On 20 March, we'll be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge on behalf of the fantastic charity Shelter. Sane people tend to attempt the Three Peaks in the Summer months but we thought March would be as good a month as any.....
The challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. We'll be starting The Challenge at 5am on 20 March at Ben Nevis in Scotland (which at 4,409ft is the tallest of the three). We'll then make our way south, driving into the Lake District where we'll climb Scafell Pike (3,209ft).
Assuming we are still alive at this point, we'll then make our way to the final mountain, Snowdon (3,560ft). This one will be done at night (to make it that bit more enjoyable....) so here's hoping the head-torches last out.). All being well, we'll be back down at the foot of Snowdon by 5am on 21 March!
We're doing The Challenge on behalf of the very worthy Shelter (the housing and homelessness charity) who do an immense amount of work across the UK helping families & individuals when they need it most.
Any and all donations are very much appreciated and we'll keep you all updated with our progress!
Cheers!
