Story
First of all just to introduce the team!
Mike Holliday, Luke Howarth, Naomi Smith, Tina Swali, Sophie Brotherton-Burns, Seb Lingwood.
This is our small team that will climb Ben Nevis in pursuit of raising money for our selected store charity which We all feel strongly about... The C will affect a vast majority of us all directly or indirectly at some point in our lives and we feel it is important that we support this as individuals, as a store and as a Team.
Each and every pound you give makes a real difference to the patients, their families and friends.The Christie charity raises money for a range of projects and initiatives focusing on 4 main areas, research, care and treatment, education and extra patient services. All of which are above and beyond what the NHS provide enabling us to give our patients the best care and treatment possible.Your donations really do have an impact at The Christie. Without the support of our fantastic fundraisers we would not be able to give patients and their families the level of care and support that The Christie charity do.From providing continuous funding for the Cancer Information Centre and Wig Service, helping patients and their families cope with the effects of treatment, to raising money for new developments such as the recently opened Teenage and Young Adult unit, your donations are having a positive impact every single day.
