Story
Help us, help the children!
UNICEF on campus, The University of Nottingham, is making a campaign called Likes Don't Save Lives, which will go off 10 AM on Monday, Nov 2.
A research conducted in Sweden shows that 1 in 7 think that liking a charity page on Facebook is equal to donating money. We want to stress that it is not enough to click like, but you need to take a step further. What we want to emphasise is the difference between what one like can do, and what money can do. Let us challenge the misconception of the importance of likes!
You can help out by donating money here, on my JustGiving page. Also, do not forget to stop by on Monday and buy some delicious cakes! Check the event here, and keep your eyes on for additional info:
P.S.:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
