I would like to take this opportunity to first and foremost, thank you for taking time to visit my 'Just Giving' page.

The purpose of this page is to raise money for the new 'Maryam Centre' (an expansion project of East London Mosque).

The Maryam Centre will bring about several benefits, including the following:

1. Increased prayer space for men & women
2. Education facilities for girls
3. Health and fitness centre for women
4. Expanded range of women's services and projects
5. Improved facilities for funeral service
6. Visitor and exhibiton centre

My personal target is to raise £500, by running 5km for the 'Run 4 Your Mosque' cause, which will take place on Sunday 27th May 2012.

All I'm asking for my brother's and sister's to do, is to sponsor me for the run and assist me in reaching my target, with the overall goal of helping East London Mosque expand even further.
