This will be the third time that a team officers have run the Great South run in kit. The kit being worn by the officers includes helmet, pads, stab vest and work boots. Just for good measure they will also carry riot shields. 

It’s an opportunity to raise money for a very worthwhile charity based in Fareham, Hampshire.
