Story

In May of 2019 our beautiful boy, Alfie Bills, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemiaAlmost overnight, this aggressive form of blood cancer transformed our lives into a whirlwind of hospital stays and chemotherapy. Yet through it all, Alfie’s unbreakable spirit and the fantastic support from children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent has kept us going.

It’s been a rough year for all of us, and charities like CLIC Sargent, who have been on the front line of children’s cancer care throughout the pandemic, are experiencing a huge drop in donations. Alfie and our family want to give something back to this wonderful charity, and hopefully put a festive Alfie-like smile on your faces at the same time!

So, what can you do to get involved?

Our family has gifted a variety of spectacular themed hampers, just in time for Christmas. For every donation of £2, you will get an entry into our draw to win one of our hampers. The more money you put in, the more entries you’ll get, and the better chance you’ll have of winning a hamper – simple! All donations will go to CLIC Sargent.

List of hampers: ( see images below & in Gallery )

1. Scottish Hamper – for a taste of the Highlands and a wee dram
2. Port and Cheese Lovers Delight – have a cracking cheese board this Christmas
3. A Touch of Luxury – everything you need for an at-home pamper sesh

To enter:

1. Hit the donate button and enter the amount you would like to donate – remember it is £2 per entry, so for example, £10 will buy you 5 entries
2. Please put your full name against the donation so we can put you into the draw and contact you if you win
3. In order to donate/enter you also need to know the correct answer to the following question. What is the name of the child who has inspired this charity fundraiser? Make sure you put the answer in the comments box before completing your donation
4. In the comments box, please also specify the particular hamper you would most like to win, as we will be drawingnames for each hamper separately. If you are buying multiple entries you may specify multiple hamper names or numbers, for example, if you donate £4 and have two entries, you could put ‘dog & baby’ or ‘4 & 7’ and we will make sure your name is in for both draws. If you don’t specify, it will be a lucky dip!

We will be updating this page towards the end of November/early December with the winners, which will be drawn by CLIC Sargent. If you win a hamper, all courier costs will be covered within the UK. So sorry, only UK residents can be entered into the draw!
