Ironman 70.3 Weymouth · 17 September 2023

We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

Hello! Hamish here. I'm sure you are all aware of Doddie's incredible efforts to set up and raise money for his foundation which aims to fund research into a cure for MND and support patients with the condition.

Having lost loved ones to MND over the past couple of years, seeing former players diagnosed, and following Doddie's incredible journey, MND it is a condition that has become particularly close to my heart. Any way in which I can contribute, no matter how big nor small, to this amazing cause, is certainly an aspiration of mine (although the aim is to raise as much as possible!).

Doddie's late passing in 2022 serves a reminder that we still need further research into MND, and it is a battle that is far from won. If you would like to help me raise some money for the My Name'5 Doddie foundation, it would be greatly appreciated!

As a bit of a fitness fanatic, I love a challenge, and although I have never done a triathlon before, in September I will be doing my first Ironman 70.3, with the aim of finishing in under 5hrs 30mins. If you'd like to help me across the line, click the donate button!

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
