Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Over the course of the next week, we as a family aim to support our beloved Samson Centre by running, walking and, in the case of our dad, cycling on his medi-bike, to achieve the distance of the Marathon 2.6 times, which equates just under 70 miles.
As a family, we have always worked together to develop and look after Samson and we will do so again in endeavouring to meet this challenge and next Sunday, dad will take all the glory by riding his medi-bike over the "finish line", however far we have left him to do.
This is a pressing time for all, but the Samson Centre for MS, like all charities, are losing all their fundraising income from events that have been cancelled, including the London Marathon. Despite being closed during this time, the charity still has ongoing running and maintenance costs which it will need to meet in order to be able to eventually re-open after the enforced shutdown. And this all depends so much on the goodwill and generosity of a strong network of supporters. In this connection, if you feel able to donate any amount towards the fight to keep the Samson Centre strong, fully intact and ready for our members to resume their treatments once this crisis is over, then please donate.
