After years of conflict, an estimated 8.2million people live in surrounded by landmines and explosives.  HALO is working to make homes and families safe but many more people need help.

The Walk for Syria is a sponsored walk top raise much needed funds to save the lives of children and civilians in Syria.

Karen and Carol are walking 30km through the Lowther hills to assist in raising money for this cause.
