Hallam 3000km challenge, 1 May 2020
NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

Given the current situation in the unprecedented times, the staff at Hallam Primary have decided to put their daily exercise time to good use.

Following social distancing measures put in place by the government we are going to be carrying out a team challenge to raise funds for NHS charities together. Our aim is to walk or run 3000km as a team over the month of May. We are tracking the cumulative distance and will post regular updates on our school Facebook page.

I am sure we have all been inspired by Captain Tom Moore, who has shown the nation the way forward in these strange times with his
determination, and whilst our staff may not have the speed of Captain Tom, we hope the our fundraising  can make a positive
difference to the UK fight against this virus.
