Fundraising for Penny Appeal
Story
As-Salamu Alaykum
In the holy month of Ramadan, I have decided to collaborate with Penny Appeal - Thirst Relief to give the less fortunate access to clean water. This is intended to be for my father’s Sadaqah Jariyah (reoccurring charity) and In sha allah yours too.
Through Thirst Relief we’re building wells in countries around the world, providing safe water to drink, wash, clean, to grow crops and to hydrate animals. This can lead to healthier lives, a better chance to go to school or work and a route out of poverty for good.
On the authority of Sa‘d ibn ’Ubadah (ra) who said, ’I asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Which charity is best?” He [saw] replied, “Providing water”’(Ibn Majah).
All contributions will go to Penny Appeal - Thirst Relief and Allah SWT will reward you immensely for your contribution and for sharing with your friends and family I’A.
29.06.2019 🥀 Please make dua that Allah grants my Father the best aakhira, ease of the grave, noor in the grave, allow the grave to be a garden from the gardens of paradise, grant him Jannathul firdaus without hisaab, ameen.
Not a day goes without thinking about you Dad. May we reunite in Jannah together, ameen.
