On the 20th August 2020, our friend Alex Caldwell lost a 15-year struggle with an immune disorder which saw him battle through a liver transplant, bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy. In the face of chemotherapy, Alex raised over £4000 for Anthony Nolan, an incredible charity which matches bone marrow donors to people in need of lifesaving transplants.

With this in mind, I am running the Brighton Half in June, while my friends have signed up to the the Cardiff Half next year. Both these runs are in aid of Anthony Nolan and in tribute to our mate, Alex.
