I am taking part in a 15K inflatable fun run (3 laps of the 5K course) on 5th of June, in memory of Chris Hanks who would have been 40 this year.

Chris was a brave (and stubborn) man, who had a lot to deal with in his short life. But he walked with dignity and held his head high. He lost his battle with heart and kidney failure on 19th August 2020. Chris was my world, a loving husband and friend. He was also a loving father, son, bother, uncle and friend. 

The money I raise will go to the Brompton fountain, a charity that was close to Chris’s heart. Chris spent a lot of time in and out of the Royal Brompton hospital. They do incredible work and without them Chris wouldn’t have grown up, gone to university, had his lovely son Sam and got married. Also without them myself, his family and his friends wouldn’t have had the precious time we had with him.
