Story

We got to know the Darby family through my cousin, Craig, and their collective football achievements.  Our families have shared many memories together, often at the side of a football pitch (or celebrating in a nearby pub).

When Stephen was first diagnosed with MND, the shock to everybody around him was palpable.  A young, fit, professional sportsman, recently married, now facing the biggest challenge of his life.

Stephen is an inspiration to us all - his drive to turn his diagnosis into something positive through the Darby-Rimmer Foundation is truly incredible.  He has continued to build awareness of MND, raise money for essential research, and provide increased hope for people living with the disease.  On top of that, he is one of the most genuine, lovely people you could meet!

Therefore, we have decided to raise funds for the Darby-Rimmer Foundation throughout May.  Sarah is going to cycle 300k, Josh (our new Aussie room mate) is running 100k, and Ben is running 50k.  We will keep you posted on progress - any donation, however small, is massively appreciated and goes to an amazing cause!
