As part of the 2021 West Midlands Mayor's Giving Month, we are again stepping into our cycling shoes and hosting our back to back Spinning sessions in partnership with the Edgbaston Priory Club PLUS this year we have also teamed up with the fantastic folks at the Gorilla Coffee Cafe and their Cycling Club in Kings Heath, offering sponsored group road rides also. 

We are proud to be raising funds for a wonderful Birmingham-based charity, Sport4Life UK who provides amazing opportunities for young people aged 11 to 29, to prepare for and move into sustained education, or training through their incredible sports-themed personal development service. 

So dig deep, please sponsor all our efforts and we are hoping to raise £2000 or more for all those sore knees, buckets of sweat and calories burned! 

If you want to join is, here is how it will work; 

The Spin Sessions - there will be 5 back to back Spin Classes, hosted by the incredibly fit and superb Fitness Team at the Edgbaston Priory Club. You can choose to join a single or multiple class and all we ask is that you make a minimum donation of £20. 

Start time will be 12noon on Saturday 25th September, with a class on the hour until the last class at 4pm, lasting 45 minutes per session. 

The Road Sessions - Gorilla Coffee Cafe have kindly loaned us the use of their superb Ride Leaders for the day and will be scheduling group rides, with a max of 8 riders per group, starting from Kings Heath and going on a loop out into the Warwickshire and Worcestershire countryside and back in to Brum. Again, all we ask is a minimum donation of £20 per session. 

Start times for the road rides will likely be 11am on the Saturday from Gorilla Coffee HQ in Kings Heath. The rides will last for 2 hours and we will have varying speeds for riders of different levels of experience.
