My Own Home -  (Mera Apna Ghar) The first Penny Appeal Orphanage, opened in Sohawa 2012. Since then have opened a further five orphanages in Pakistan and The Gambia.

My Pledge is to raise the funds for 10  Bricks!The bricks help build an orphans home and life in Gambia.  Help to fulfil a pledge of a £1,000 towards an Orphanage Home in Gambia.  

The grand total to build an Orphan Home is £40,000.  (1 Brick = £100 - Development costs, Land, Construction workers, Taxes, Utilities etc.)

The Amir Khan Foundation is working with Penny Appeal, forming an orphanage project in one of the poorest nations in the world, The Gambia.  This complex will include a community centre, school and clinic – but most importantly, it will facilitate small orphan homes. Each home will accommodate 10 children and allow them to live in a natural environment as possible. A dedicated mother will live at each home, ensuring the orphans get the essential care and love they need. The children will be provided with a comprehensive education, medical support and nutritious meals.
