Story
Many of you will already know that my dad, Hadyn Roberts, suddenly passed away in February. Dad suffered with a form of Muscular Dystrophy, a cruel muscle wasting disease, and although it was not the direct cause of his death, his decreasing mobility since his diagnosis in 2012 definitely played its part
MDUK is a charity who support people with muscle wasting conditions and fund world-class research into the cruel and unforgiving disease. There is currently no cure but charities such as MDUK give us all hope that there one day might be.
There is now an urgent need to raise more funds to meet the growing demand Coronavirus will have on their services as they face the biggest threat in their 60 years with a funding gap of £2.8m. We as a family went to a MDUK information day back in November 2019 and found it incredibly insightful and inspiring. Little did we know what was around the corner.
With today being Dads birthday (22nd May), we would really appreciate a donation in support of this charity that was so close to his heart. Every little helps.
Thank you xx
