Story
For the month of October we will be taking a tiny break from our ongoing fundraising for the Stars Appeal to take part in the Miles in Memory challenge for Aching Arms. All inspired by a little bear we were so kindly given after our beautiful Hadley died.
Aching Arms is a really special charity that provides comfort bears to newly bereaved parents. Each bear is donated in the memory of another baby gone too soon and they are usually given to newly bereved mothers as they prepare to leave hospital without their baby.
This October I will be taking on a walk each day, dedicating each day of the challenge to a different baby. If you would like us to walk in memory of your baby please do send me a message on Instagram or at hadleys.hearts@gmail.com - we would appreciate a donation too but do not by any means expect one. Our target of £100 will mean that Aching Arms can donate another 10 bears to families in need.
If you are local to the Salisbury area / want to meet somewhere not too far away, then you are so welcome to join me any of the days for a walk (& maybe some cake!) And if you have any ideas for any walks we can do so we're not doing the same one 31 times we would love to hear!
We will also be opening our doors for coffee and cake on October 11th as part of Baby Loss Awareness week to try and raise a little more money. We will also have some our little hearts for sale on the day. Local friends - feel free to pop in at any point during the day or after work, we would love to see you and will share a little more about this closer to the time!
As always, thank you so much for your support!
