Story
I, along with Bedford Fajr Cycling Club, will be embarking on a 100KM ride in a day on Saturday 12 or 19 March (weather dependent) to raise funds for Sue Ryder Hospice.
Our local Hospice supports people at the end of their lives. This can be a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition.
The Hospice doctors, nurses and carers give the people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live their last days as best as they can.
Currently, the government provides only one third (37%) of the funding that hospices need and Sue Ryder rely on fundraising activities and voluntary donations to cover the remaining costs of providing palliative care services.
Please help us to raise money for the noble cause.
