What We DoOver the years we have carried out a number of refurbishment projects including reception areas & chemotherapy waiting rooms, through to quiet rooms & ward upgrades. One of our biggest building projects was the collaboration to build the Horizon Centre. We also pay for larger items of equipment, like scanners & chemotherapy chairs, blood pressure monitors, & much more.We provide additional services to make patient treatment a little more comfortable. Things like nice tea & coffee for patients, through to up to date magazines, medical acupuncture to help relieve chemotherapy symptoms & the much relied upon patient car park to name but a few...We regularly fund research projects, including blood, brain, anal, breast & bladder cancers as well as advanced radiography techniques & Remote Outcomes Monitoring to improve patient care. In addition to funding research projects we also contribute towards research equipment.
